A DRIVER who collided with a number of vehicles in Greenock and allegedly ran off was caught after a major police search.
Police responded to a report of a van colliding with another vehicle on Dempster Street at 10:30pm on Sunday (27 September).
The van reportedly continued and collided with other vehicles before stopping on Nile Street.
Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: “The driver allegedly made off. After a significant search involving a police search dog, the suspect was traced and arrested after failing a roadside breath test.”
The 28-year-old man faces numerous road traffic charges.
