THE Stedfast Silver Band is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and is keen to contact as many former members as possible.
To launch a year of festivities the band is hosting a birthday party at 2pm on Sunday 12 March in Westburn Parish Church hall, Nelson Street, for all members past and present.
There will be displays, photos and birthday cake and a chance to reminisce and catch up.
