PLAN Being Developed For Housing At Lower Larkfield Site

PROPOSALS are being drawn up for a residential development in Larkfield, Greenock.

Housing association River Clyde Homes is looking at providing 20 properties at Cumberland Walk.

A document updating Inverclyde councillors on local housing projects states the scheme would include technology-enabled assistance for older people.

The site, between Norfolk Road and Cumberland Road, previously had a block of flats with shops underneath.

The report continues: “The site is now cleared and ready for site investigation and feasibility stage works, and River Clyde Homes are developing proposals for a potential 20-unit project.”
