GREENOCK Philharmonic Choir hold their Christmas Concert on Saturday (6 December).
It takes place in Lyle Kirk, Union Street, Greenock, from 7.30pm.
The choir is welcoming back two guest ensembles — Riverside Youth Band and Angel Voices children’s choir from Kilmacolm.
Musical Director, Nicholas Wilks said: “The concert will include an exciting and varied programme which includes highlights from Handel’s Messiah as well as some more recent gems by Peter Warlock, Elizabeth Poston and Oliver Tarney.
“There will be plenty of opportunities for audience participation too with some favourite audience carols. Our Christmas concert is a great opportunity to bring our community together with a mix of familiar favourites and some beautiful music for Advent.”
Tickets are £12, which includes festive refreshments. Under-18s and students are free.
