MOTORISTS are being warned of overnight road closures on the A78 near Skelmorlie.
Resurfacing work is being carried out at Meigle Bay, south of Skelmorlie, from Sunday (11 January) until Sunday 18 January.
The road will be closed each night from 8pm to 6am, with traffic facing a lengthy diversion via Beith, Kilbirnie, Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm.
Daytime single lane closures managed by temporary traffic lights will be in place between 6am and 8pm on Tuesday 13 January and Wednesday 14 January.
All traffic management is due to be removed by 6am on Sunday 18 January.
