SUMMER Tennis Camps Underway In Greenock

YOUNGSTERS are enjoying tennis fun in the sun in Greenock.

The first of the summer’s tennis camps has been taking place at Ardgowan Tennis club.

The Greenock clubs between them are running six, with next week’s camp taking place at Fort Matilda Tennis Club in Newark Street.

The camps are being managed and taken by the clubs’ head coach Stephanie Norris. For more information on booking, call 07414 221022.

Convenor at Ardgowan tennis club Chris Jewell said: “These camps are a great way of introducing children to tennis and include a lot of fun games.

“With the Wimbledon championships on at the moment, giving further encouragement, we hope that a lot of the children will go on to become members at one of the local clubs.”
