Inverclyde Now Logo CRICKET — Inverclyde Aim For Third Consecutive Away Win

16 August, 2018 | Local

AFTER two successive away wins, Inverclyde travel again on Saturday, playing Bute County at Toward in their penultimate league match of the season.

Inverclyde approach the match with some confidence after two wins and two draws in their last five games, but availability issues mean that six changes have been made from the team that defeated Kirkstyle by six wickets last weekend.

However Inverclyde can field a strong bowling attack in an effort to restrict the strong Bute batting line-up.

Inverclyde also has a growing pool of players boosted this year by the breakthrough of some juniors into the senior team.

The following players have been selected, to meet at McInroy’s Point, at 11.45 on Saturday — Ross Blair, Chris Dick, Billy Hair, Alastair Johnstone, Dave Mudie, Tommy McDade, Elizabeth McInnes, Douglas Pilkington, Paul Singh, Gareth Smith, Tom Watson, Frederick Smith
