THIRTY-two projects are to receive support from the Inverclyde Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
Delivered locally by third sector organisation CVS Inverclyde, on behalf of the Scottish Government, the fund supports community-led approaches that promote mental health and wellbeing across Inverclyde.
It focuses on prevention and early intervention, reducing isolation and addressing inequalities that impact people’s wellbeing.

Awards include multi-year grants to support longer-term programmes and one-year grants for targeted local activity.
Successful organisations include Compassionate Inverclyde, RIG Arts, Parklea Branching Out, Mind Mosaic, Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde, Scottish Families Affected by Drugs and Alcohol, Morton in the Community, Cycling Without Age, Your Voice and Safe Harbour.
Projects will deliver vital support in areas such as suicide prevention, social connection, poverty and inequality, disability inclusion, bereavement support and wider wellbeing.
Charlene Elliot, chief executive Officer of CVS Inverclyde, said: “We’re incredibly proud of the commitment shown by local organisations. Their work strengthens our communities and ensures that more people in Inverclyde can access the support they need, when they need it.”
