THE organist at St John’s Church, Gourock, is holding a recital this Friday (24 June) at 7.30pm.
Philip Norris — who recently performed at one of the daily organ recitals at Kelvingrove in Glasgow — will play music he wrote during lockdown plus pieces with a Scottish flavour and a varity of other styles including some favourites from film.
Entry is by donation with proceeds going to charities working in Ukraine and local ministry.
Attendees should enter via the Bath Street entrance. Disability access is available via the St John’s Road entrance.
Refreshments will be served afterwards.
