PARENTS are being advised that primary one registration for Inverclyde Council schools will be opening online on Monday (5 January).
Children who reach the age of five years between 1 March 2026 and 28 February 2027 are due to start primary one at the beginning of the school term in August 2026.
Parents are asked to register their child in their chosen denominational or non-denominational catchment primary school.
The catchment school for Gaelic medium primary education is Whinhill Primary School and is available to every child living in Inverclyde.
The online registration form will be live from Monday 5 January to Friday 9 January.
