ADVICE for Inverclyde householders concerned about council tax has been issued.

Inverclyde Council say that people struggling to meet their next council tax payment because their income or earnings are impacted by the coronavirus pandemic can check if they qualify for help by using the online benefits calculator.

Those who pay council tax over 10 months may be able to spread the cost over 12 months if they move to direct debit, which can be arranged online.

Information about council tax reduction is available online.

Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership advice service is able to provide help in relation to welfare benefits including council tax reduction and can be contacted using an online chat service; by email on triage.advice@inverclyde.gov.uk or by leaving a message on their telephone answer service 01475 715299.
