A TEMPORARY one-way system will be in place along a section of Kingston Dock for six weeks as part of the next phase of creating a new active travel route through the estate.
Scott Way, between the junctions with Crunes Way and the A8, will be down to one lane from Thursday 19 February until Friday 3 April.
The road will be open to westbound traffic only for the duration of the works.
There will be no left turns from the A8 into Kingston Dock with traffic into the estate being diverted to Lithgow Way instead.
Lithgow Way is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday 18 February following the conclusion of work there over the last five weeks to expand the existing pavement to create an active travel route.

On Scott Way, the pavement which runs alongside the dry dock will be expanded out to a width of four metres to create a new active travel route.
The road itself will be extended onto the grass verge on the opposite side to maintain the same width of carriageway for vehicles.
Once complete, the new Scott Way active travel route will join onto the recently expanded coastal path through Kingston Dock and onto the extended Lithgow Way.
The Kingston Dock route will connect to the coastal path running alongside the A8 opposite the retail park and Anderson Street and Mirren Shore, all of which have also been upgraded in recent times.
Work is being carried out as part of the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans) National Cycle Network Development programme and is being funded from an £850,000 Scottish Government grant specifically for active travel improvements in Inverclyde.
Improvements are also currently taking place in Greenock to upgrade the active travel route between the Battery Park and the Esplanade and works were recently carried out in Gourock.
Active travel routes are being created or existing pathways upgraded throughout Inverclyde to create better links for people to access parks, town centres and encourage healthier and more environmentally-friendly forms of transport, such as walking, cycling or wheeling and for prams and wheelchairs.
