MAJOR Police Response After Body Found In Glen
A MAJOR police operation was launched on Sunday evening at Auchmountain Glen in Greenock after a body was found.
Officers sealed off an area of the glen near Kilmacolm Road just after 6pm.
Detectives confirmed this morning that the dead man was a 46-year-old. His family have been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained pending results of a post-mortem examination. There are no suspicious circumstances.
Numerous police vehicles were at the scene.
A police photographer also attended.
