FOOD And Drink Enterprise Hub Plan Submitted

REGENERATION bosses in Inverclyde have submitted plans for a new £1.8million food and drink enterprise hub.

Riverside Inverclyde wants to build six work units for start-up food and drink enterprises including shared office space.

The development is proposed for land recently cleared at the corner of Drumfrochar Road and Baker Street, Greenock.

It will offer kitchen units, storage, hot desk and meeting space for manufacturers and is due for completion at the end of 2018.

The site would also be landscaped and have 22 parking spaces.

The application is now pending assessment by Inverclyde Council planning department.

The project is part of multi-million pound plans to transform the Baker's Brae/Drumfrochar Road corner in Greenock.
