THEFT Of Motorbikes And Pedal Bikes In Inverclyde Break-Ins

MOTORBIKES and bicycles worth thousands of pounds have been stolen in three break-ins in Gourock and Port Glasgow.

A Rieju 125cc Marathon motorbike was taken from a garden shed in Staffa Avenue, Port Glasgow between 6pm on Sunday and 8.45am on Monday.

It is red, white and black and has the number-plate SA16 GAM.

Any sightings of the vehicle or any information regarding the break-in should be reported to Constable Sokolov at Greenock police office on 101, quoting incident number KC02230717.

Meanwhile a garage in Cloch Road, Gourock was broken into between 10pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday.

Items taken included a Kamikaze off-road bike, a black, red and blue Stomp motorbike and a white ladies' Caprice pedal bike, plus various tools.

Any information regarding the break-in or the whereabouts or the property stolen should be passed to Constable Notman at Greenock police office on 101, quoting incident number KC02190717.

Finally a garden shed was forced open in Brookfield Ave, Port Glasgow between Friday and Monday. A dark blue hybrid sport bike was stolen.
