OWNER Charged Over Dogs' Sheep Attack

A DOG owner has been charged in relation to an attack by two dogs which left more than 20 sheep dead at a Gourock farm.

Police have charged a 43-year-old man under the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953 following the incident at Levan Farm on 16 October.

Officers say a total of 23 sheep died and that the financial loss to the farmer is around £11,000.
