JOB Vacancy -- Business And Administration Modern Apprentice At PG Paper, Greenock

PG Paper, Greenock is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated business and administration modern apprentice.

All applicants should have a keen interest in working within a busy office environment doing administration tasks.

Key tasks include:

-- Opening mail, answering the telephone and dealing with calls from clients and suppliers

-- Assisting with general office admin duties

-- Updating, organising and filing documents, such as scanning documents into the correct file locations

-- Updating the ERP system when required

-- Carrying out research where required

-- Creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word where required -- Handling and filing receipts to assist with expenses.

-- Ad hoc duties

You will obtain the relevant qualification in Business and Administration.

You will also develop several skills and assets, such as:

-- Good communication skills, both oral and written

-- Good organisational skills

-- Good interpersonal and customer service skills

-- An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries

-- An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities

-- Good team-working skills

Qualifications in National 4s and National 5s are desired. You should also possess a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and good IT skills.

Along with a good standard of knowledge in general administration, you should also have a keen interest in working in a business and administration environment.
