IT'S A Play Of Two Halves -- Morton Comedy Drama Being Staged At Theatre

THE Beacon Arts Centre will be lit up in Morton's blue and white hoops to mark the staging of a play and exhibition about the Greenock football club in September.

Comedy drama Mon Eh Ton! will run from Thursday 14 September to Saturday 16 September at the Custom House Quay venue.

The show, by Gourock playwright Davie Carswell, covers the history and characters of Morton Football Club from 1874 to present day.

The show is packed with laughs and Morton songs thrown in for a bit of audience participation. There will also be a cameo appearance by a Morton legend.

A free exhibition about Morton will run alongside the show in the function rooms at the Beacon, from Wednesday 13 September to Saturday 16 September.

The centre piece of the display will be a video featuring old match footage, old footage of Greenock and new interviews with Morton legends.

Tickets for Mon Eh Ton are available from the Beacon website or by calling 01475 723723.
