EYE-catching paintings depicting Port Glasgow's heritage have been unveiled at the town's railway station.

The mural containing 14 panels has been installed in the entrance corridor.

It was created by artists Karen Orr and Jim Strachan from local community organisation RIG Arts with input from children at St John's Primary School, community leaders and members from the Old Men's Club.

The artwork came about through Port Glasgow Town Centre Regeneration Forum as a way to improve the appearance of the station and was funded by Regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde and ScotRail's Culture and Arts Fund.
