IN Pictures -- Cruise Ship Season Starts With Caribbean Princess

GREENOCK welcomed its first large cruise ship of the year today (Saturday).

Clyde regular Caribbean Princess, which can carry 3,500 passengers and has 1,200 crew, arrived at the Ocean Terminal around 7am.

The 113,000-tonne Princess Cruises ship is expected to leave about 6pm, although times often change at short notice.

Caribbean Princess, which is scheduled to call 12 times at Greenock this year, is on a British Isles cruise.

The ship arrived in from Belfast and will depart bound for Kirkwall.
