FIVE Cruise Ships In Four Days At Greenock

GREENOCK Ocean Terminal has its busiest spell of cruise traffic of the summer later this week -- five ships in four days.

First to call, on Thursday (9 August) is the 69,000-tonne Oriana as part of a 19-day cruise that includes Greenland and Iceland. The ship is expected about 8am and should leave around 5pm.

The terminal will host two cruise ships on Friday (10 August) -- the 48,000-tonne Viking Sky, on its first visit to Greenock, and the 60,000-tonne Rotterdam. Both will arrive early in the morning, with Rotterdam due to depart around 5pm and Viking Sky around midnight.

Royal Princess makes one of its many Clyde calls on Saturday (11 August) around 7am. The 139,000-tonne ship will leave in the early hours of Sunday once passengers return from seeing the Edinburgh Tattoo.

Ocean Majesty

Finally the 10,000-tonne vessel Ocean Majesty will be at the terminal on Sunday (12 August).

Arrival and departure times often change at short notice.
