A SKINCARE and beauty expert has chosen Inverclyde for her fourth UK clinic.
Ashleigh Todd, who grew up in Greenock, plans to open The Aesthetics Club Gourock at 82 Shore Street next month.
Her company, Ashleigh Todd Aesthetics, has taken a long-term lease on the unit and already has clinics in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Cookham in Berkshire, and Shawlands in Glasgow.
Ashleigh has been working in the aesthetics industry for over 12 years and her company offers a wide range of services including wrinkle-reducing injections, platelet-rich plasma and chemical peels.
The medical clinic will be operated by qualified doctors and nurses and is regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland, which sets it apart from many of its competitors.
Growing up in Greenock, Ashleigh attended Duncan of Jordanstone Art School and the University of West Scotland to complete a degree in Nursing Studies, before combining her medical experience and artistic ability to deliver quality aesthetic beauty treatments across the United Kingdom.
Ashleigh said: “I’m delighted to be opening the new clinic in Gourock especially now that we are nearing the completion of the fit-out works which have been extensive, in line with Healthcare Improvement Scotland regulations.
“I’ve always held an ambition to open up one of my clinics in Inverclyde and now is the perfect time as we continue to grow.
“It’s been a very successful few years for the business as we continue to expand across the UK, with our loyal customers continuing to be delighted with the range of treatments and client care.”
She added: “We have a large number of customers from the Inverclyde area who currently travel to our other clinics, so it makes sense to create a local clinic to help serve and grow our client base.
“I’ve been asked for a number of years from clients to open a clinic and I’m just delighted this property was available as it is a perfect fit for our aims.
“We had great support from the team at [property agents] Bowman Rebecchi, Ross Gregson and our landlord and would like to thank them all for their help in securing the new location.”
Ashleigh’s clinic in Glasgow is one of only four in Scotland awarded ‘Clinic of Excellence’ by Healthcare Improvement Scotland.
