NEW Home In Gourock For Thriving Estate Agency

ESTATE agency McArthur Scott has acquired three commercial properties in Gourock, one of which will be its new base.

The estate and lettings agency, which launched in July 2017, is currently based in Brougham Street, Greenock.

Its acquisition, which was completed in early September, will see McArthur Scott relocate to 11 John Street following internal refurbishment works, with 9 and 13 John Street to be leased separately by the business.

The family business has experienced substantial growth and had been searching for a permanent base

Owner Fiona McArthur said: “We are delighted to secure our new home and to be relocating to Gourock following an exhaustive search of the local market.

“The business continues to go from strength to strength, and this expansion will enable the company also to house a financial planner to further support customers with their plans, as well as create the right environment for our staff and clients.

“Having our own space is essential for our long-term aims, and we were able to move quickly on this property to stay on track with our growth projections.”

The sale marks further success for Gourock-based commercial property specialists Bowman Rebecchi which, since launching in February 2020 has doubled its portfolio.
