INVERCLYDE Council have announced the death of Pixi the donkey, a much-loved resident of Gourock (Bunny) Park for the last 12 years.
Pixi, a rescue donkey, passed away on Monday afternoon following a short illness.

In a post on social media, the council stated: “She was a gentle and happy donkey who adored children and was a very much-loved animal in return. She was also a good companion to Jester the park pony.
“Unfortunately she had taken unwell and was not able to feed and digest properly. Thank you to Glasgow Equine Hospital and Practice, University of Glasgow for their dedicated care and attention.
“Pixi will be greatly missed by staff and the many visitors who knew her.”
