MORTON Thrash Relegation Rivals At CappielowNEW Morton manager Dougie Imrie enjoyed a resounding victory from his first home game in charge.
The Greenock side beat Dunfermline 5:0, moving Morton up from last place to seventh in the Championship. Dunfermline drop to bottom of the league.
Gary Oliver got the first goal, in the 35th minute, and Cameron Blues made it 2:0 five minutes later. Gavin Reilly got the third in added time at the end of the first half.
Dunfermline conceded an own goal in the 72nd minute and Brian McLean completed the scoring three minutes later.
