MIDFIELDER Kian Taylor has signed for Morton following his departure from Preston North End.
The 20-year-old is coming to Cappielow on an initial one-year deal.
Born and raised in Preston, Kian has spent all of his career at Preston North End, progressing through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in July 2023 and making his professional debut in a League Cup match against Salford just two weeks later.
He joined Altrincham in January this year on a one-month loan deal, scoring once in five appearances for the National League side.
Taylor featured in Morton’s pre-season matches against Annan Athletic and Queen of the South, scoring in the Annan game.
Manager Dougie Imrie said: “Kian is a young player with great potential who adds more competition to the midfield.
“We saw what Kian can offer in pre-season during his appearances against Annan Athletic and Queen of the South, and I am delighted to welcome him to Cappielow.”
