MORTON Now Ninth After Losing To Inverness

MORTON slipped to ninth place in the Championship following defeat against Inverness Caledonian Thistle

The Greenock side lost 4:1 at Cappielow, conceding two goals in quick succession towards the end of the first half.

Robbie Muirhead pulled one back for Morton in the 61st minute but Inverness added two more in the 71st and 80th minutes.

Morton are behind eighth-placed Arbroath on goal difference and one point behind Ayr United who are seventh.
