MORTON’S League Cup group stage match against Hibernian is now being recorded as a win for the Greenock side.
The change comes because Hibs have been charged for fielding a player who was subject to a one-match suspension in the competition.
The match at Easter Road finished 1:1 after normal time — Grant Gillespie put Morton ahead from a penalty in the 61st minute but Hibs equalised 10 minutes later.
Morton won the subsequent penalty shootout 3:1.
Following the disciplinary action against Hibs, the match is being treated as a 3:0 win for Morton.
