MORTON lost to bottom-placed Hamilton Academical.
The Greenock side conceded from a penalty in the 19th minute of the away match and were unable to equalise.
Last time the sides met, at Cappielow in October, Morton won 5:0.
Morton, who lost their first match of 2023 last week, remain fifth in the Championship.
