MINI-Roundabout Installed On Busy Greenock Route

21 January, 2026 | Local

THE first of two mini-roundabouts being installed in Greenock town centre has been completed as work continues on preparing diversion routes that will operate while the Bullring Roundabout is removed.

The new roundabout is at the junction of Laird Street and Dalrymple Street. A further roundabout will be formed on Container Way at Laird Street.

The Bullring will be replaced with a traffic-light crossroads as part of the £24million Central Greenock scheme. Ahead of work beginning at the Bullring, Inverclyde Council is preparing alternative routes.
