TWO men have been charged with reckless conduct after a dispute with a takeaway delivery driver got out of hand.
Police were called to the disturbance on Newton Street around 7.15pm (Tuesday).
Sergeant Jason Logdson said: “The two suspects were allegedly shouting, swearing and being aggressive towards the driver and thereafter throwing items out of the property window onto the street below and could have caused an accident or injury.”
The men — aged 42 and 55 — were arrested for alleged breach of the peace and culpable and reckless conduct.
They are scheduled to appear at court on a later date.
