MAN Arrested After Large Amount Of Cocaine Found In Kilmacolm

DRUGS with an estimated street value of more than £75,000 have been recovered in Kilmacolm.

Officers from the Inverclyde Priority Policing Team attended at a property on Knockbuckle Avenue and found cocaine with an estimated value of £77,000, around 5pm on Monday.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged and was due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.

Sergeant Gary Arthur said: “Drugs are a blight on our community, and we remain committed to disrupting their supply. This was a significant recovery that has been kept from our streets.
