TWO men were arrested following a disturbance in Greenock.
Police were called to John Wilson Street at 8am yesterday (Tuesday).
A 26-year-old was arrested for being allegedly being abusive and threatening to assault a female using a weapon.
A 30-year-old was also arrested after allegedly being found in possession of a kitchen knife in public.
Both are due to appear at court on a later date.
Area commander Chief Inspector Paul Cameron said: “This is a disturbing and unacceptable incident.
“Thankfully nobody was injured and both perpetrators have been arrested and will face the consequences of their actions.”
