MAN Allegedly Struck On Head With AshtrayDETECTIVES are investigating an alleged serious assault at a property in Port Glasgow early today (Thursday).
A 43-year-old man suffered a head injury after he was allegedly hit on the head with an ashtray.
The incident happened during a disturbance in a house in Westfield Road around 1.50am.
Police are following a positive line of inquiry.
A 36-year-old woman has been apprehended on suspicion in relation to the incident.
