MAIN Road In Greenock Closed To Allow Water Pipe Repairs

25 November, 2021 | Noticeboard

ROAD users in central Greenock are being advised of disruption after a water main burst today.

A road closure is in place to enable repairs to be carried out to the four-inch main on A78 Inverkip Street, near Greenock West Station.

There has been no impact on customer supplies in the area.

Drivers are asked to follow the diversions in place and plan ahead.

The repair is expected to take around two days to complete.

The route will be reopened as soon as the work has been completed and the road has been reinstated.

Scottish Water has apologised for any inconvenience.
