GOUROCK DJ and music producer Bruce Glenny hit the decks as a guest DJ on board the super yacht Galaxy during a swimwear launch party in Florida.
The fashion event was part of Miami Music week and Ultra Miami Festival, which claims to be the world’s premier electronic music festival, boasting elite DJs from around the globe including Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix and David Guetta.
It was launching Fae Swimwear’s latest collection, starring rising fashion model Natasja Madsen.
Bruce said: “My thanks go to Galaxy’s chief engineer Steven Webster for the invitation to perform. This was a huge event with worldwide interest in the swimwear range, models and DJs.
“I played a range of new unreleased material, such as my latest track ‘The Underground’ in collaboration with Blueboy & Dash from London.
“It was an incredible opportunity to promote my music and hopefully it will open up the chance to play at other festivals and clubs around the globe.
“Meantime I’ve a busy summer ahead playing SWG3 Glasgow, Ibiza, the TRNSMT festival and of course Terazza del Clyde, Gourock.”
Bruce also made a guest appearance with Rothesay-born DJ KC Lights at the Esme Hotel on Miami Beach.
Bruce said: “As soon as KC Lights heard my latest track ‘The Underground’ he was impressed and said he would include it in his set.
“Playing on the Esme rooftop was a great experience made even better by the reaction I got to my own tracks.”
Bruce is at SWG3 Glasgow on 20 April and Terraza Del Clyde on 1 June at Royal Gourock Yacht Club. Tickets are available online via Skiddle and Bruce’s social media.
