A MAJOR project to inspect and upgrade fire doors in Inverclyde schools is to be undertaken by a local company.
Pyrodoor, a leading provider of internal and external fire-resistant doors, will start the work in the coming weeks.
Existing fire doors in each school will be subject to detailed inspections, focusing on the condition, installation, and compliance with current safety regulations.
Where necessary, Pyrodoor will undertake upgrades and replacements to ensure stringent requirements are met.
