INVERCLYDE Voices Performing In Gourock And Glasgow

22 May, 2024 | Local, Noticeboard

COMMUNITY choir Inverclyde Voices has two concerts coming up in June.

The 100-strong group will perform at Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church, Binnie Street, on Sunday 2 June at 2pm, in aid of Compassionate Inverclyde, the choir’s nominated charity.

Instead of having to pay for tickets, audience members are being asked to take along a few items for Compassionate Inverclyde’s back home boxes which are given to anyone being discharged from Inverclyde Royal Hospital who lives alone.

Particularly needed are long-life milk, sugar (small packet), teabags (pack of 40), coffee, biscuits, tins of fruit, jam, crackers, small cereals (one serving), show gel and shampoo.

Complimentary strawberries and ice cream will be served after the concert.

Meanwhile the choir’s summer concert will take place in St Andrew’s Cathedral, Clyde Street, Glasgow on Sunday 9 June, at 7pm with admission from 6.30pm. Tickets are £10 (under-12s free), available online.
