GOUROCK DJ Bruce Glenny brought his talents back to Royal Gourock Yacht Club at the Terraza Del Clyde music and dance event.

In its third year, the highly popular event produced by Summers Friends Productions started with local DJ Chris Morrison before singer Mick McLennan took to the stage and wowed the crowd of more than 300 with an hour-long acoustic set.

Glasgow duo Macha the got the decks back up and spinning in the glorious sunshine on the terrace at the Yacht Club.

To top off the sell-out event and returning to Gourock after recently playing in Miami and Ibiza, Bruce Glenny took to the stage and launched his three-hour set with a special Terraza remix of his latest track ‘Call it Love’.

The crowd danced the night away in the sunshine while the Cunard cruise ship Queen Anne and the French ship Le Champlain sailed past in the evening making it a perfect setting.

The top event was only made possible with sponsorship by local businesses Tonino’s Pizzas, Shipyard Gin, Barber & Groom, Dog Coach Dylan and Forty Clothing.

Bruce Glenny said: “Thanks to the talented artists and everyone that bought tickets it was another hugely successful event and we even managed to sell it out.

“A massive thanks also goes to my colleagues at Summer Friends Productions, Martin Tegg and Dylan McFadyen, for their hard work in pulling it all together.

“I’d also like to pay particular thanks to the numerous friends and family who stepped in to help the yacht club staff out in working behind the bar. I will address this issue with the yacht club.

“We’ve had so many people thank us for a great night and asking whether there’ll be a repeat. I can’t promise the sunny weather again but let’s wait and see what happens about another Terraza Del Clyde later in the summer.”

Bruce now moves to a Saturday night residency at club/restaurant El Santo, Miller Street, Glasgow and will play the Boogie Bar at TRNSMT for a third time in July at Glasgow Green.
