Inverclyde Now Logo IN Pictures — New Images Of How Gourock Flats Development Will Look

16 October, 2020 | Local, Planning

NEW computer-generated visualisations have been drawn up showing how apartments at the former Firth Hotel site in Gourock are expected to look.

The images have been released by Nicholson McShane Architects who are taking the project through to completion.

Work has been underway in recent weeks to prepare the site for construction to begin.

Planning permission was given to Holt Leisure in 2016 for an L-shaped building of between two and four storeys containing 11 apartments.

Six of the flats will have three bedrooms and the rest will have two bedrooms. There will be 19 parking spaces behind the building.

The building in Ashton Road at Ashton Place was demolished in 2017.

The premises — latterly run as bar/restaurant One Ashton Road — had been disused for several years.
