IN Pictures — Greenock Town Centre’s Hidden Oasis
A SMALL dam in central Greenock has been one of the town’s best kept secrets.
The dam, into which the West Burn used to feed, was located beside the railway line at Greenock, behind tenements on Nelson Street and The Range store. It was breached some years ago.
The burn now flows straight through the overgrown site where it appear a pond area remains, in the top left corner
