THE clock on the tower at historic Wemyss Bay Station has been fixed after many years.
The Friends of Wemyss Bay Station announced on their Facebook page: “We are delighted that, after many years, the clock tower clock is working properly again and showing the correct time!
“A new electronic mechanism has been fitted and the faces are now lit at night.
“We are grateful to the Railway Heritage Trust for sharing the cost equally with us, and to Network Rail Scotland for arranging the work.”
