MORTON’S fourth round Scottish Cup match against Motherwell went to penalties after two goals at the end of extra time.
The away match was without scoring after 90 minutes and it wasn’t until stoppage time at the end of the extra half-hour that the first goal was scored, by Motherwell.
In a dramatic twist, Markus Fjortoft of Morton eqalised just two minutes later.
However, Motherwell won the match, gaining the upper hand on penalties 5:3.
