MORTON were beaten 5:1 by league leaders Partick Thistle.
The Greenock side went 1:0 ahead in the 17th minute at Firhill when Robbie Muirhead scored.
But Partick hit back, with two goals in the first half and three more after the break.
Morton are eighth in the Championship after eight matches.
