PLANNERS have agreed that one of three new commercial units in Greenock’s East End can be a hairdressers instead of a hot food takeaway.
The application involves premises on Kilmacolm Road at the former Scottish Water site, opposite Burnhead Street.
A hairdressing business has already opened in the unit. Inverclyde planners said the use was acceptable.
One of the other units is already occupied by Flawless hair and beauty salon and permission is in place for the third to be a cafe.
The development also features a second building, for use as a convenience store, as yet unoccupied.
