GREENOCK Play Centre Set To Reopen Under New Owners

AN indoor play centre in Greenock looks set for a new lease of life under different ownership.

Kids-R-Us opened in September 2018 in a unit at Cross Shore Street/Dalrymple Street but went out of business just over a year later.

Now planning applications have been submitted by Xcite Play Ltd to make alterations to the building.

Drawings submitted to Inverclyde planning department show that, as before, there will be various play areas and a cafe.

There will also be a dojo area for children’s judo.

The planning application is for installation of a glazed/cladded facade allowing for a new takeaway access to the existing kitchen.
