CANINES can take the plunge as Gourock Outdoor Pool holds its popular end-of-season doggy dip.
Inverclyde Leisure has announced that dogs and their owners will be able to have a 30-minute swim together followed by a 15-minute hose down.
The event takes place at the pool on Albert Road on Tuesday 30 September.
Three sessions are bring released initially, at 10am, 11am and noon, with capacity for 40 dogs in each. More will be added when these are full.
Tickets must be pre-booked and are available online.
The pool is not open for general swimming on this date. The last day of the public season is Monday 29 September.
