GOLF — Results From Margaret Lever Seniors Open At WhinhillMYLES Gallacher was crowned winner of Whinhill Golf Club’s Margaret Lever Seniors Open.
Myles, a member at Whinhill, returned an excellent nett score of 63.
The competition is open to any golfer, with an official handicap, over the age of 50.
A total of 71 competitors took to the field. All were treated to a course in good condition, with some great scores returned.
Myles won by two shots from seven players who all returned scores of 65.
The scratch prize went to John Donald, of the home club, with a level par scratch score of 68, this being his second senior success of the week after winning the County Seniors Championship at the Renfrewshire Golf Union event at Kilmacolm Golf Club.
Whinhill Golf Club thank the Lever Family for their continued support of the competition.
