GOLF — Inverclyde Open Results

WHINHILL Golf Club hosted the 2021 Inverclyde Golf gents strokeplay scratch and handicap open competition.

Charles McDowell (scratch), of Greenock Golf Club, and David McFeeters (handicap), of the host club, were crowned winners.

The competition has been running since 1976 and is held at the four Inverclyde golf clubs on a rota basis.

Fifty-eight golfers took to the course, which was in great condition, with many of the competitors commenting on how good the greens were.

Inverclyde Golf thank Whinhill Golf Club for organising the event.
