GO-Ahead Is Given For More Commercial Units At Vacant Site

23 August, 2023 | Business, Local, Planning

NEW plans have been approved for a commercial development on land in Greenock that’s part of businessmen Sandy and James Easdale’s property empire.

The brothers’ Dalglen investment arm acquired the former Breedon Aggregates yard on Orchard Street, between Ingleston Street and Crescent Street in November 2020.

Inverclyde Council planners later gave permission for seven small units for business, industrial or storage/distribution use.

The council have now approved revised proposals by Dalglen for two buildings — one with nine small units and one containing five garages. The premises will be for industrial and storage use.

The site is close to Easdale family commercial interests Blairs Windows and Doors and Arc Fleet Services.
